Bitcoin Investment Trust GBTC
GBTC 於 2015 年在櫃檯市場上首次亮相，是屬於開放式信託，也是第一支與比特幣關聯的投資工具。與市場交易的交易型基金相比，開放式信託基金只能在市場收盤時交易一次。 GBTC 是提供無需直接持有就能從買進比特幣獲利機會的少數基金之一，且已從中獲利。但隨著所謂的加密貨幣的市場演化發展，預計其他基金將進場，這可能對比特幣價格帶來巨大壓力。 GBTC ETF自2015年成立以來，市值一直上升，但該公司研究主管Ihor Dusaniwsky則表示，採購和持有實際比特幣的操作風險很高。
